About Dr. Carolyn Burns

Carolyn Burns has served as a business development manager at Avery Dennison for industrial applications for the past ten years, focused on pressure-sensitive label materials. Her responsibilities include collaborating with key end users and label converters to pinpoint, assess, and implement new opportunities, as well as formulating strategic and tactical business plans to drive growth and innovation in durable segments.

She has extensive technical and commercial experience in the chemical industry, including roles in engineering, quality assurance, product management, sales, and technical service. She has also worked in marketing and business development for label printing and digital ink manufacturing companies.

Carolyn is a Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Virginia, and resides in Delaware with her husband. They are the parents of three delightful daughters and are fortunate to have three adorable grandchildren.
