About Wayne Yount

Wayne Yount is a Product Category Manager for OE at Michelin North America, where he has worked for over 25 years. He graduated from Clemson University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Wayne began his career as an Automation Engineer in Tire Manufacturing, a role he held from 2000 to 2005, before moving on to become a Vehicle and Tire Test Engineer from 2005 to 2010 at Michelin's Research and Development Center.

Following an assignment as the Lead Automation Engineer at Michelin Retread Technologies, Wayne became a Senior Product Development Engineer for OE Passenger Car and Light Truck from 2014-2021. He also worked as a Senior Product Development Engineer for BF Goodrich Racing from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Wayne serves as the Product Category Manager for OE Passenger Car and Light Truck, where he continues to contribute to the automotive industry.
