Matthias Wernecke, Launch Manager Driving Dynamics & Driver Assistance Systems, BMW Group

Matthias Wernecke is a local representative of central engineering for driving dynamics and driver assistance systems at the BMW plant Spartanburg. He supports upcoming vehicle launches and the integration of chassis and ADAS systems across vehicle platforms. Over 11 years at BMW, he has held technical expert and leadership positions in component development spanning steering and axle systems, as well as further chassis parts, with a focus on translating component targets into series solutions. He holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
