Meet the Presenter
Tracey Norberg joined the Association in 1997. She directs policy, technical and legal issues including tire performance and safety, scrap tire management, the USTMA tire shipment data program and the Association’s member engagement program.
She serves as the chief legal officer and corporate secretary of the organization, providing counsel in a variety of areas including: employee benefits, human resources, corporate governance, contracts and antitrust. She also represents the tire industry before the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and various other federal, state and local agencies in the U.S. and abroad. In addition, Tracey serves as President of the Scrap Tire Research and Education Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing markets for scrap tires through education and research.
Earlier in her tenure, Tracey directed environment, health and safety issues for the Association. She led the Association and expanded its representation, expertise and staff in this key issue area. Prior to joining the Association, Tracey served on the regulatory affairs staff at the American Forest & Paper Association and interned at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of General Counsel.
Tracey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College and a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
In her spare time, Tracey enjoys home improvement projects, spending time outdoors with her family, and serving on various volunteer boards in the community.
